We enthusiastically inform you that the “Cancer Prevention and Control (CAPAC) Research Training Program”, funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI grant #5R25CA240120-05), will be hosted by the University of Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Center from May 28 to August 2, 2024 in Puerto Rico, USA. 

CAPAC will recruit a total of 25 graduate students/health professional students and recent graduates from all racial/ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds to participate in a 10-week hands-on full-time research experience in Puerto Rico under the supervision of an assigned research mentor. The program will also provide seminars and workshops for the trainees. You will find more information about our program at
