Four research projects have been awarded prizes. Winners include a project to find better diagnostics and treatments for endometriosis; a group that has developed a new model to study the biological effects of nanomaterials; a team studying the causes for the high incidence of asthma in Puerto Rico; and a group promoting the integration of social and emotional skills in classroom curricula.
