We would like to add to our team a highly motivated student interested in working at the interface between Ecology and Geomorphology.  Our project seeks to understand how variation in soil fertility influences plant traits that play a critical role in slope stability in tropical mountains.  The student participating in this project will learn about soils, plants, and roots and will have the opportunity to develop a research project.
