The RCMI institutions convene biennial International Symposia on Health Disparities to showcase the excellence in biomedical, clinical, and bio-behavioral research from the institutions supported by the RCMI Program. Scientific sessions highlight translational research in diabetes, cancer, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular disease, gender-specific health disparities, neuroscience, and other topics. The Xth RCMI International Symposium will be held December 13-16, 2006 at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
