UPR Aguadilla wins $880,000 grant for STARp project

The project focuses on undergraduate research, active learning strategies and citizen science projects. This is the first time that UPR-Aguadilla receives a grant from NSF, the most important and prestigious federal scientific agency in the United States.
Aguadilla, P.R. - Last April, the National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded a grant of $800,000 to the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla (UPRAg) for the implementation of the project entitled: "Strengthening Teaching and Advancing Research Partnerships: Reinforcing theSTEM Workforce (STARp)", under the direction of Dr. Yadira Malavez Acevedo, Assistant Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences.
