Join the Yale VIBES (Virtual Internship for Biomedical Education in Science) Program for our 2025 cycle! Yale VIBES is a paid, two-semester (winter and fall 2025) virtual internship geared for STEM-curious undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience at Yale and learning more about life in graduate school from Yale faculty and current students. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in computational and data analytical projects along with review or commentary writing aligned with their research interests under guided mentorship of Yale faculty, socialize with cohort classmates and graduate students through virtual social events, network with academic professionals, and present publishable research at our Yale VIBES Research Symposium to the Yale community! No previous research experience required - only a love for science!

Support for the Yale VIBES program has been generously provided by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), the Yale Liver Center, and the lab of Dr. Rachel Perry.

Please answer all of the following questions to the best of your abilities. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST Friday, January 31, 2025. A shortlist of applicants will be invited for a brief interview the following 2-3 weeks, and those unfortunately not selected to move forward will be notified. The final outcome (selected or not selected for the program) will be sent by March 1.
