Have you previously submitted a proposal to the National Institutes of Health? Have you been close to the pay line but need some help to land a grant? Or do you need “retooling” to facilitate your continued success with the NIH?

Join the Get Funded! Interactive Grant-Writing Workshop team at the University of Kentucky for a dynamic three-day workshop of intensive, interactive grant-writing training. We are currently accepting applications from faculty researchers at minority-serving institutions for our 2016 Get Funded! Event, to those who have not yet participated in our workshop. The workshop, designed for faculty members with biomedical research interests, will be held March 14, 15 & 16, 2016 on the campus of the University of Kentucky. Sessions focus on strategies to develop a competitive research proposal for submission to the NIH, using the NIH’s R01 funding mechanism as a model application. Funding for this conference is made possible (in part) by a grant (R13GM058252) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences.

Conference housing will be at the Hilton Suites at Lexington Green. Lodging, airfare, and ground transportation will be covered by our granting agency. Complimentary airport shuttle service and daily transportation to and from the University of Kentucky will be provided.

Faculty researchers in the biomedical sciences who are interested in attending this workshop should submit a completed application form and NIH Specific Aims page as soon as possible to:
