We are pleased to announce that nominations and applications for the 2018-2019 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are now open. You previously nominated a teacher for this award. Do you know another great 7-12th grade teacher for us to consider this year? PAEMST is able to recognize such brilliant teachers every year because of nominators like yourself, and we are seeking your help to once again identify great teachers for the current cycle. 

As you know, PAEMST are the nation’s highest honors for teachers of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science. Presidential Awardees receive a certificate signed by the President; a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend a series of recognition events and professional development opportunities; and a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation.

We hope you will consider nominating another talented teacher using the PAEMST website today. The 2018-2019 nomination deadline is March 1, 2019, and the application deadline is May 1, 2019.
