Climate Justice League Fall 2018

The Climate Justice League is a 10-week long organizing fellowship for high school and college students who are ready to make a difference. Through this program, students learn key organizing and leadership skills, meet other youth activists from around the country, and take action for climate and social justice. Fall 2018 Semester Applications are now live, the deadline to apply is September 18th.

As an Organizing Fellow with the Climate Justice League, you will learn about:

• Climate change and environmental pollution, the science and impacts on our communities.
• What it means to be an organizer in your community-- taking action with friends and family to change your school, campus, or city.
• How to stay hopeful when so much feels stacked against us.

By the end of the 10-week program, you will have:

• Developed leadership by taking action on climate and environmental justice in your campus or community.
• Cultivated relationships with other Organizing Fellows across the United States and in Puerto Rico.
• Received support and training from experienced organizers on how to effectively fight for climate justice in your community.

Coaches are experienced organizers who mentor, guide, and empower CJL Organizing Fellows as they take action for climate justice. Coaches support Organizing Fellows to hone their organizing skills, grow their confidence as leaders, and clarify their vision for justice. If you’re excited to be part of the CJL Coaches Team, apply here!
