MAJOR DUTIES:
Depending on the office requirements, you could be expected to
perform a variety of program support tasks to support various
program offices including: working with program files, compiling
information, assisting with numerical calculations, and/or using
various office automation programs to prepare narrative or graphical
information.
You could also be expected to perform administrative support duties
such as: updating and maintaining office records and files,
reviewing and receiving correspondence, and/or receiving telephone
calls and greeting visitors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
To apply for a Student Temporary Employment Program positions, you
must be at least 16 years of age at the time you report to work. You
are eligible for consideration if you are pursuing any of the
following educational programs:
(1)Associate Degree;
(2)Bachelors Degree;
(3)Graduate Degree;
Definition of Student: A student is an individual CURRENTLY enrolled
or accepted for enrollment as a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.)
seeking student and is in at least a half-time
academic\vocational\technical course load in an accredited high
school, technical or vocational school, 2- or 4-year college or
university, graduate or professional school. The definition of half-
time is provided by the school in which the student is enrolled. A
student who needs to complete less than the equivalent of half an
academic\vocational\technical course load in the period immediately
prior to graduating is still considered a student for purposes of
this program.
