Law to attract researchers to Puerto Rico

In order to foster scientific research in Puerto Rico, the Legislature is seeking to create a Tax Incentive Law to benefit scientifc researchers. This law is seeking to attract researchers to the Island to work in public or private universities and medical schools. It offers an up to $195,000 exemption when filing taxes for earned wages for the natural year that started on January 1st, 2008.
