La Fortaleza has proposed a bill that would take control of the Puerto Rico Cancer Center (PRCC) away from the university, threatening to undermine research at that institution. The bill would not only reduce the number of board members, but also calls for the governor to appoint five of the board members for periods that range from two to four years.

The recommended daily sugar intake is six teaspoons for women and nine teaspoons for men, but most before consume much more than that, putting their health at risk. With the number of diabetics doubling, it is time to modify our sugar consumption habits.
