The forum "Repercussions of the Arecibo Incinerator: Solution to the problem or a new problem without solution?", was presented recently by students from the Graduate School of Public Health at the Medical Science Campus from the University of Puerto Rico. Topics on the possible harmful effects on the environment and public health that can occur after the construction of the incinerator were discussed.

A group of professors at the Graduate School of Public Health of the University of Puerto Rico denounced this morning that several government agencies to express themselves against the construction of a trash incinerator by the company Energy Answers in Arecibo.
