La doctora Idhaliz Flores, de la Ponce Health Sciences University, busca a personas menstruantes entre 11 y 20 años para participar en un estudio de Salud Menstrual. Participarán en grupos focales diseñados para conocer sobre a fondo percepciones, educación y estigmas relacionados a salud menstrual. Es una buena oportunidad para jóvenes que quisieran conocer más sobre los procesos de investigación.

For many women, menstruation is just a nuisance or discomfort. But for one in ten women this process is accompanied by inflammation and pelvic pain so severe that it affects the normal rhythm of their lives. These women are suffering from endometriosis, a condition characterized by dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), chronic, disabling pelvic pain, and often infertility.

The RCMI Program is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician position.  The ideal candidate will be motivated and interested in Cancer Research. He/She will be responsible for conducting in vitro (cell culture) and in vivo (mouse models) experiments.  The candidate should be able to perform basic molecular biology techniques and will be responsible for a variety of administrate/office tasks.
