About Me and Project Info

About Me:

Undergraduate Neuroscientist part of the Neuro-ID research program focused on elucidating factors involved in the regeneration of the ectoneural system in sea cucumbers. Provided tutoring and mentoring services to undergraduate students for two years and currently working as Chemistry Laboratory Assistant in the University of the Sacred Heart. Interested in exploring molecular mechanisms associated with aging of the CNS in mammals.

Project Info:

Working on identifying receptors involved in parts of the regeneration of the ectoneural system in H. glaberrima under Dr. Arrara's Laboratory. Using genotyping and SANGER sequencing to validate genes and in situ hybridization to localize them.
