Welcome to CienciaPR, an expert and resource network for all who are interested in science and Puerto Rico.
I'm a PhD student in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (LCSEE) at West Virginia University. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico Arecibo Campus. As an undergraduate student I had the opportunity to participate in a summer internship at the University of Science and Technology in Missouri, where I worked in the development of a robot that could measure the signal strength indoors. As an undergraduate student I was awarded with the SMART scholarship for two years. I also have a Master Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. As a master student I received for two years the National Science Foundation Scholarship, and I also received a fellowship called Nuclear Education Fellowship Program in which I was working as a research and teacher assistant.
Currently I'm working at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a Post-Master Research Associate, where I work with Stacy Prowell in the Cyber and Information Security Research Group. My research interests are computer security, computer forensics, and cyber physical infrastructure.
