My broad interests in Earth history, biological evolution, species extinction, human impacts, fossils, and education have led through a variety of experiences working in the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History, surveying and collecting fossil whales (and turtles) in Egypt, pushing the limits of the life-history record we can get fossil elephant tusks, organizing a project with elephants at the Toledo Zoo in Ohio, and completing a Ph.D. in geology at the University of Michigan. I am eager to find opportunities that enhance my knowledge of the history of life on Earth and help bring science to the public and the next generation of students.
