About the Webinar:
This webinar will provide an overview of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and program updates for the FY 2016 competition (incl. deadlines, application and review processes).
The GRFP awards fellowships on a competitive basis to support the graduate education of research-oriented students in a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. A GRFP Fellowship supports the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant achievements in science and engineering research.
Each year, 2,000 fellowships are awarded through a national competition to senior undergraduates and graduate students, providing 3 years of funding for their graduate education in STEM fields over a 5-year period, useable at any accredited institution in the U.S.
The intended audience is undergraduate and graduate students.
