The NSF Hispanic-Serving Institutions Principal Investigators Meeting was held November 6-8, 2019 in Washington, DC. Dr. Carla Lopez del Puerto and Dr. Humberto Cavallín, Principal Investigators of the RISE-UP project, and Dr. Rodolfo Romañach Principal Investigator of the "HSI Conference: Accelerating the Impact of HSI STEM Education and Research on Innovation Ecosystems" attended the meeting representing the faculty and researchers of the above mentioned projects. During the conference, they presented posters and learned from NSF Program Directors and many researchers who are creating new opportunities for Hispanic students
