Last week a of high school seniors, winners of the El Nuevo Día Educador 2013 Prizes, visited the Amgen facilities in Juncos.  The visit included tours of the analytical and manufacturing facilities to give the students a better understanding of the science and technology at work in the day to day activities of the company.

Edwin Mojica, from the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, informed that an endangered green sea turtle died this morning in the Escambrón area of San Juan. In better news, Mojica said that another endangered sea turtle species, a leatherback turtle, was seen laying eggs in Ocean Park.
