Sea Grant comenzó un proyecto para monitorear el agua del Estuario Boquilla en Mayaguez. El proyecto durará varias semanas e incluye talleres educativos. Sea Grant está solicitando voluntarios y la Dra. Ana Navarro, la coordinadora del proyecto.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 29th class in 2017, the Foundation has provided over 5,850 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $63 million in educational support.

MasOportunidades.org National Geographic (NatGeo) ofrece subvenciones para jóvenes exploradores. Las subvenciones se otorgarán para el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación, conservación y exploración en áreas de trabajo de NatGeo.

Contribuir a lograr un mejor mundo siempre ha sido uno de los valores principales de Ford, y el compromiso con la sustentabilidad es un elemento vital de la esencia de nuestra empresa.

Por ello, las oficinas de Ford para Centroamérica y Caribe crearon el programa Donativos Ambientales Ford, a través del cual se impulsan proyectos que impactan de forma positiva al medioambiente.

As part of the Yale Ciencia Academy for Career Development, the 2016 class of fellows led and implemented a series of science outreach projects to put into practice the communication, teaching and leadership skills they learned during their year in the program. Through these projects, these young scientists also had the opportunity to broaden their impact on society and their communities.
