The National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) invites faculty, early career investigators, and institutional leaders to the next FREE NRMN Southeast Training event, taking place at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, PR from November 17th-18th, 2016.

Faculty, postdocs and new NIH investigators will improve their grantwriting skills, and senior faculty will learn an effective grantwriting coaching model they can implement at their own institution, during the structured coaching sessions.

Institutional leaders will also have an opportunity to learn about effective models and resources for their institution's on-campus mentoring and training programs.

Faculty will also have an opportunity to hone their research mentoring skills at a special mentor training workshop

This program is offered with support by Dr. Noel J. Aymat-Santana, Chancellor, University of PR Medical School.

The activities will be led by Dr. Adriana Baez, Associate Director of the NRMN Research Resources and Outreach Core (RROC).
