The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (IIR) at the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey is identifing a pool of applicants to participate in a possible research project in the area of Organic Chemistry. While no specific position is available at the moment, we invite professionals to send their credentials in case a post-Doc-position opens in the near future. The IIR will like to receive CV of professionals who meet the following criteria. • Ph.D. in the area of natural products chemistry • Experience in the areas of organic solvent extractions, modern chromatographic techniques, Mass/NMR Spectroscopy, LC-MS, and structure determination • The ability to solve problems independently * Additional experience in protein separation and characterization will be favorable. We also welcome candidates who have experience in training and supervising undergraduate students in the research laboratory.
