The second call for applications for the international accelerator Parallel 18 (P18) closed with 33% more applications said the Executive Director, Sebastián Vidal. A total of 507 startups from 44 countries applied.

Scientists from the Arecibo Observatory clarified that the green light some residents of northern Puerto Rico have noticed recently in the night skies is part of atmospheric studies being done by this premier research center.

The Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust announces second round of its "Small Research Grants Program"

Research & Development funding in Puerto Rico could be significantly increased if local researchers are provided with adequate resources that enabled them to arrive at critical milestones in their research endeavors. The Trust has developed the Small Research Grant Program (SRGP) to help researchers to position their R&D proposals competitively prior to the submission, or re-submission, to private or federal agencies.
