Ponce School Of Medicne (PSM) is hosting an NIC-funded interactive workshop on stem cells in cancer here at PSM. Sixteen participants will have the opportunity to learn new concepts and also acquire hands-on experiences in stem cells in the lab. Selected participants will have all expenses paid. This course is geared towards minority/disadvantaged graduate students, post-docs, residents, fellows,and junior faculty.

Two postdoc positions in Drosophila circadian rhythms and electrophysiology

Research Assistants / Associates at the School of Physiology and Pharmacology, Bristol University

Scientific Aresa: circadian molecular genetic, biochemical, imaging, optogenetic and behavioural experiments with Drosophila.

For both positions, experience in circadian rhythms, optogenics and Drosophila molecular and classical genetics would be an advantage but instruction in these techniques can be obtained from the host labs.
