El equipo UPRM RoboBoat Team, compuesto por 35 estudiantes de diversas disciplinas del Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez (RUM), de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (UPR), diseñó, manufacturó y programó un bote autónomo, que se bautizó con el nombre de RUM-BA, capaz de navegar con una serie de obstáculos acuáticos, para la participación del International RoboBoat Competition, que tendría lugar en South Daytona, en Florida, pero que se realizó de manera virtual.

Don't miss out on the opportunity in applying for the 2020 NHHF Health Professional Student Scholarship.

As of January 2020, the National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) has awarded over $1.3 million to 290 outstanding Hispanic and underserved health professional students. The scholarship is open to current full-time medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing (including BSN), public health/policy, and physician assistant students.

The 2020 National Hispanic Health Professional Scholarship is open to any student enrolled full time in the following accredited graduate programs:

 

  • Medicine: allopathic or osteopathic
  • Dentistry
  • Pharmacy
  • Nursing (including BSN)
  • Public Health/Policy
  • Physician Assistant
