La Fundación Nacional de las Ciencias (NSF, por sus siglas en inglés) le otorgó una subvención de $650,000 dólares durante 5 años al Recinto de Carolina de la Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM) para ofrecer becas a estudiantes de escuela superior que deseen estudiar un bachillerato en Microbiología, Biotecnología o Biología.

Beca Gates para seniors de escuela superior

The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 student leaders each year, with the intent of helping outstanding minority students who come from low-income backgrounds realize their maximum potential.
