About Me:

I'm a social work researcher at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System at San Juan. I have a doctoral degree fom Columbia U. specializing in Social Welfare. I have appointments at UPR Graduate School of Social Work as field instructor for the past 13 years and part time faculty at Interamerican University since 1987. I'm member of the IRB at our medical center and also of the Human Studies Sub-committee. I'm a past chair of the VA National Social Work Research Committee. First ever San Juan VA employee to be funded by VA HSR&D in 1994. Particular interest in adapting measuring instruments to Spanish.
