Hello I was born in PR and did my BS at the UPR Rio Piedras from 1974-1978.
I came to the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1979 and received my PhD in 1986. I trained as a molecular biologist but have always been interested in developemental biology. As a result I started my postdoctorla work in a laboratory that used the nematode C. elegans as a model system.
