We seek a PhD student to support an EU funded Marie Curie European Industrial Doctorate (EID) project “deviCes for Light impact on Skin Stem Cells” CLaSSiC.

CLaSSiC is an interdisciplinary research project, leveraging insights on the molecular, cellular, and biophysical impact of light on skin stem cells towards the development of novel devices for regenerative therapy.

The potential candidates should have M.Sc. degree in biomedical sciences, molecular biology or biophysics; have knowledge of a range of cellular and molecular laboratory techniques and hands-on experience with design of experiments involving ex vivo tissues or mammalian cells.

This position is jointly based in the University of Bradford and Philips, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The ESR will spend about half of their time at Philips as is the requirement of the scheme.
