Arecibo observatory captures images of giant asteroid

Using the radio-telescope with the most powerful transmission capacity on the planet, astronomers at the Arecibo Observatory, captured radar images of the 2014 JO25 asteroid. Studies performed at the Arecibo Observatory revealed that this asteroid, considered potentially dangerous due to its size and occasional proximity to earth, is two times the previously estimated size.

San Juan - It has happened to us more than once that we find ourselves in a hurry and the elevator we are waiting for takes too long to arrive. Immediately, we proceed to press the up or down key repeatedly, until we give up and decide to take the stairs. From a research perspective, the explanation for this fenomena of frustation was unknown until today. Guided by Drs. Fabricio Do Monte and Gregory Quirk, a team of neuroscientists in the School of Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR-RCM), discovered how the brain reacts to a frustrating event.

The thyroid is a gland localized to the front part of your neck, under the "Adam's apple". Its function it to produce hormones that communicate to organs in our body affecting our breathing, cardiac rhythm, weight, an energy levels. If the thyroid is not working properly, neither can we.

We have all experienced anxiety. In some instances, anxiety is temporary and is manifested due to a specific event. However, if anxiety affects your daily activities and you feel that you can't control it, it could be more than a simple preoccupation. Generalized anxiety is characterized by exaggerated worrying and can have symptoms such as tremors, inability to relax, difficulty to concentrate, excessive sweating, fatigue, difficulty to sleep, amongst others.
