Physics Student Organization Honored with Outstanding Chapter Award by the National Office of the Society of Physics Students 

December 13, 2021, San Juan, Puerto Rico - The Society of Physics Students (SPS) chapter won the 2020-2021 Outstanding Chapter Award from the SPS National Office. The chapter has been recognized for its excellence as a premier student-run physical science organization, a designation awarded to fewer than 10 percent of all SPS chapters at universities in the United States and internationally.

The University of Puerto Rico at Humacao (UPRH) invites the entire community to participate in the lecture From First Generation to Nobel Prize, by Dr. Barry Barish, 2017 Nobel Laureate in Physics. The lecture, sponsored by the PREM-UPRH and PROUD-UPRH programs, will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. via Facebook Live @UPRHComunica.

El Observatorio Astronómico y el Departamento de Física y Electrónica de la UPR de Humacao se complacen en anunciar el taller de verano "Futur@ Físic@".  Esta iniciativa patrocinada por NASA Puerto Rico Space Grant Consortium proveerá a los estudiantes de escuela superior un panorama amplio de los fundamentos de la física y la electrónica.
