Aguadilla - The Institute of Aeronautics and Areospatial Enginering (IAAPR) opened in Aguadilla today. The Governor of Puerto Rico Alejandro García Padilla participated in the launching event.

Multiple Campuses of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) have created new academic programs in the STEM fields. 

UPR at Mayagüez (RUM) have created 2 new bachelors in engineering.

UPR at Aguadilla created an associate degree in Aeronautics and Aerospatial Technology.
