Candidates from all disciplines, especially those in underrepresented fields of study in the social sciences, humanities, engineering, dentistry, social policy, and LGBTQ+ studies are highly sought after.

PennVIEW - Postdoctoral Diversity Initiative, University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine

The event takes place on April 22-23, 2020 and consists of tours of the UPenn campus and laboratories, one-on-one meetings with faculty members of interest, networking opportunities to meet program directors and current postdoctoral trainees, and panel discussions to gain insight on resources and fellowship opportunities for postdocs at Penn. Travel and lodging expenses (if necessary) will be covered. Applications are due by February 15th, 2020.

RUM graduate named presidential professor at UPenn

José Arturo Bauermeister had been appointed as a Presidental Professor at UPenn, this position arises from the Action Plan for Faculty Diversity and Excellence that seks to recruit and retain professors with exceptional trayectories in order to promote Faculty diversity. Dr. Bauermeister graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Department of Social Sciences where he investigated the stigma associated with communities affected by HIV.

Simposio sobre programas de PhD en UPenn (todos los gastos pagos)

This Symposium, co-organized by many of the PhD programs at Penn, will emphasize student diversity. It aims to particularly attract underrepresented students (especially sophomores and juniors) at colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic states who are interested in learning more about graduate school.
