A new workshop from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, “Careers Beyond the Bench,” offers one-to-one mentoring, help preparing application documents, career-planning advice, training in interview techniques, and other support to ensure their transition is successful. 

The workshop will cover the following career tracks:

• science policy
• teaching-based professorships
• science communication and outreach, and
• scientific writing.
