SAN JUAN, PR, April 11, 2013 - Ford announces the twelfth edition of the Ford Grants Program for Conservation and Environment, whose purpose is to help individuals and nonprofit organizations on the island in projects that promote environmental welfare . Since the program's launch, Ford has awarded more than $ 400,000 in scholarships to more than 65 local organizations to promote their environmental initiatives.

Mark Buzzell, director for Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America Ford International Business Development, said that through this program, one of the largest in the world dedicated to environmental conservation, the company will award a total of $ 40,000 between the selected organizations.

Individuals or organizations interested in applying for Donations Ford Conservation and Environmental must access www.ford.com.pr The deadline for applications is May 17, 2013.
