UPR Humacao abre convocatoria estudiantil para participar en el 3er Festival de Cortometrajes Microrrelatos de Cambio Climático

(Humacao, P.R.) - El Instituto Transdisciplinario de Investigación-Acción Social (ITIAS) de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Humacao (UPRH) invita a estudiantes de escuela superior y universidad a someter sus trabajos y participar del 3er Festival de Cortometrajes Microrrelatos de Cambio Climático, que se llevará a cabo el próximo 20 de octubre en el Centro Criollo de Ciencias y Tecnología del Caribe (C3Tec) en el municipio de Caguas.

The University of Puerto Rico at Humacao signed a five year long collaboration agreement with the Criollo Center for Science and Technology (C3tec) to train guides, develop documentaries and designate professors to offer workshops, and other resources.

C3TEC, the first science and technology center in the Caribbean, will have 33 interactive exhibitions in subjects ranging from meteorology to geology to energy. The center will also house two technology companies with laboratories, which the public will be able to observe through glass windows. On the third floor the structure will house a "green" roof with gardens and a rain water collection system.
