Scientists in Puerto Rico participated in the Project 1000 Genomes and published their results in “Science” (vol. 350, núm. 6262) and “GigaScience” (vol. 4, núm. 53). In addition they are collaborating with Russian colleagues to decipher the Russian Genome.
