Providence, RI, August 22, 2013 – Again this year, representatives from top US research universities will be visiting Puerto Rico to recruit undergraduate students for master’s and doctoral programs. The Ivy Plus Group has come to the island annually for the past 20 years.
The consortium, consisting of Brown University, The Broad Institute, Cornell University, Columbia University, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University, Princeton University, Rockefeller University, University of California at Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University and The Leadership Alliance will visit several campuses to discuss the MA, MS, PhD and MD/PhD application process, funding support, coursework, academic advisors, research opportunities, graduate student life and much more.

University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Tuesday, September 10, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Wednesday, September 11, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Thursday, September 12, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Thursday, September 12, 4:30 – 6:00 PM
Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico Thursday, September 12, 6:00 – 7:30 PM

In addition, members of the consortium will participate in the Recruitment Fair at this year’s Ana G. Mendez University System Undergraduate Research Symposium which takes place on Saturday, September 14 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan.
Students from all majors are encouraged to attend any of these events and learn about graduate school training opportunities at top US research institutions.
