The Hispanic Heritage Foundation and Code4PuertoRico joined forces to teach programming at the Gerardo Sellés Solá School in Caguas yesterday, as part of the LOFT Initiative.

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation and its sponsors also recognized Daniel Suárez, NASCAR driver; Puerto Rican STEM leader Frances Colón; and eight secondary school students from all over Puerto Rico.

A group of reserachers from the Institute of Psychology Research (IPsi) at the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, found that young people with diabetes and depression shown reduce symptoms of anxiety after been exposed to cognitive behavioral therapy.
