Call for Videos: Let out your inner Behavioral & Social Scientist!

The Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR) is turning 20 this year! To help us celebrate, we are asking you to submit a video that showcases your research work. The best videos will be featured on our website http://obssr.od.nih.gov throughout 2015.

Specifications
• Length: 60 to 90 seconds 
• QuickTime/MOV, WMV, MPEG or AVI format and YouTube compatible
• No larger than 50 MB
• Must be 508 compliant. 
Information on 508 Compliance: http://webstandards.hhs.gov/standards/7 
• Captioned with an available transcription file 
• Free of content that may violate any copyright laws
• Release forms for all people featured in the video must be obtained (if applicable). 

Submission Deadline: April 15, 2015. 

Steps to submit your video: 
1. Send your Intent to Submit a Video. Email Tara Turner: tara.turner@nih.gov. DEADLINE: March 16, 2015.
2. Upload your video to YouTube.
3. Send us a link to your video: obssrnews@mail.nih.gov DEADLINE: April 15, 2015. 

Put all your effort into a making a smashingly ingenious submission and have fun! There are a few criteria that OBSSR staff will use to make their selections, including relevance to the behavioral and social sciences research, compliance with all aforementioned specifications, significance and impact of the research featured, and quality of the video.
